This Privacy Policy explains how North Coast Residential Solutions LLC, doing business as The Heights Handyman (“we,” “us,” or “our”), handles the information you share with us when you use our website, contact us, or hire us for work across South Euclid, University Heights, Cleveland Heights, Beachwood, and 14 more eastside communities, Ohio.

2. What data we collect

We collect only the information we need to respond to you and do our work. This includes:

• Contact details you provide through our contact form, by phone, or by text — such as your name, email address, phone number, and the city or property address where work is needed.
• Project details you send us, including descriptions, inspection reports, and photos of the work.
• Communications with us, including phone calls and text messages.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we do not collect sensitive personal information beyond what you choose to share about your project.

3. How we use your data

We use the information you provide to:

• Respond to your inquiries and requests.
• Prepare and discuss estimates.
• Schedule and perform the work you hire us for.
• Communicate with you about your project, including by text message.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. SMS / text-message data

When you provide your mobile number — by submitting our contact form or by texting our business number at (216) 284-9433 — we use it to communicate with you about estimates, scheduling, and your project.

We do not share or sell your mobile opt-in data or phone number to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Your consent to receive text messages is never shared with third parties for marketing. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, or text HELP for assistance. Data Sharing

• Customer data is not shared with 3rd parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
• Mobile opt-in and consent are never shared with anyone for any purpose. Any information sharing that may be mentioned elsewhere in this policy excludes mobile opt-in data.

The Heights Handyman Messaging Terms and Conditions

1. The messaging program consists of informational messages only - appointment scheduling, estimates, project updates, and general conversational messaging to answer questions and provide support to customers. We do not send marketing or promotional messages.
2. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text 'STOP' to the phone number from which you received messages. After you send the SMS message 'STOP' to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
3. If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at ezra@theheightshandyman.com.
4. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency will vary based on communication needs. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

5. Third-party services

We do not sell, rent, transfer, or share your personal data - including your phone number, text-message content, and mobile opt-in data - with any external organization for any purpose, even if you give your consent. The only exception is the contracted service providers who are strictly necessary to deliver or secure our SMS messaging service, such as our text-messaging platform and the email/SMTP provider that delivers contact-form submissions to us. These providers may act only on our behalf, and are never permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

6. Cookies and analytics

Our website is intentionally lightweight. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers. If we use basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand general site usage, that data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally. Your browser settings let you control or block cookies at any time.

7. Data retention and deletion

We keep your information only as long as needed to respond to you, complete your project, and meet our legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations. After that, we delete or de-identify it. You may request that we delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by contacting us using the details below, and we will do so unless we are required to retain it by law.

We take reasonable measures to protect the information you share with us against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we limit access to your information to what is necessary to serve you.
